Instead of the usual satin applique edge, this daisy has a very thick penstitch running along the edge, that makes it look as though there was a thin satin ribbon placed along the edge. To prevent fraying, the applique fabric is “bonded” with light interfacing. Combine with ricrac or ribbon to create a stem or leaves. For the 5×7 hoops. A great design to use up your stash of fabric scraps. Also lovely in the center of a pillow for a little girl’s bedroom.

This is a set of 10 miniature fill designs. All will fit the 4×4 hoops, several of the designs are less than 2×2”. They are meant to accompany the Country Garden Applique Alphabet but can be used on their own as well and would look great on children’s items, placemats, or towels.
