One more dress for Saarah

Just finished this Farbenmix dress “Henrika”.  I have to admit that the stitching out of the heart wreath was a pain.  I broke 5 needles doing so.  Stitchout time for the wreath alone was 1 1/2 hrs, and at least another hour for just “fringing” it.  I do like the outcome but my Singer XL 6000 did not like this embroidery pattern.  Those fringe designs were from Adorableideas.com.

The fringe flower in the back sewed out much better and more smoothly.  The butterfly is from my for sale set “Abby’s flowers and butterflies”.  It’s a very useful design and stitches out well.  I so enjoy sewing for my grandkids and am saddened by the new law HR 4040 that will most likely keep me from doing so past February.  If you haven’t heard about it, you may want to do a google search.  It will affect a lot of people in a very negative way.

In the meantime, I am rushing to finish some of the items I had planned for Saarah and Eliana.

Such an unusual heart design, very pretty! The pink and green fabric is gorgeously girlie together :)
