The mug rug is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The background and side borders are quilted as part of the embroidery. There are two stitch files in your download. One with the full saying as shown, another one without the center design and wording. That way you can fussy cut fabric to display a pattern of your choice.
