Do you like to send mug rugs as a greeting card? Here is one that will delight rose lovers. A perfect mug rug to show case some of your gorgeous rose fabrics. The overall background is stipple quilted and the rose “patch” is reverse appliqued. This is a simple technique and is explained/demonstrated in the write up. There is a pretty scalloped edge to enhance the applique edge.
The design comes with thorough instructions in pdf format with clear photos. This project is entirely completed in the hoop; no additional sewing machine or hand stitching required.
There are two stitch files in your download – one with the full design and the words Happy birthday another one with the rose design but no words.
