Change the color of the rose to be appropriate for the occasion The overall background is stipple quilted and the background behind the daisy is quilted with a heart motif. The rose “patch” is reverse appliqued. This is a simple technique and is explained/demonstrated in the write up. There is a delicate decorative edge along the applique edge. The design comes with thorough instructions in pdf format with clear photos. This project is entirely completed in the hoop; no additional sewing machine or hand stitching required.
There are two stitch files in your download – one with the full design and the words Happy birthday (including swirl), another one with the rose design on the left but no wording on the right. That way you can insert your own words or let a special fabric “speak”.
