This adorable 8” square elephant mini quilt would make a great addition to a baby’s or small child’s room. It would also make a great baby shower gift. The giraffe and heart are appliqued; the hair along the back of the neck is fringed, adding a bit of 3 D fun. The mini quilt can easily be made to look more girly by adding a tiny bow to the top of the head or tail and by placing crystals in the center of the small flowers. The background of the mini quilt is quilted in the hoop with a heart motif and the various borders get attached during the in the hoop process. There is a “sleeve” in the back that will make it easy to hang the mini quilt. No additional hand or sewing machine stitching is required.
