This in-the-hoop project is for bibles with the following dimensions: 4 ¾ x 6 7/8 x ¾”. (The cover will accommodate a bible up to 5×7 as well.) Be sure to check your bible’s dimensions before purchasing this design. Examples of this type of bible is the NKJV Pocket Bible, NCV Pocket Bible. The bible cover is done in 3 hoopings in 5×7 hoops: You will construct the front first, then the back with pocket, and then in the last hooping you will combine the two parts by stitching a cover spine. It is not hard to do. Just follow the instructions listed in the enclosed pdf document carefully. Lots of photos included.

The decorative cross design is part of the cover. The cover has a convenient back pocket for a pen and a small notepad, as well as an elastic strap that holds the bible shut when not in use.
