The center rose is digitized in a very light density and the stitches spill past the outline to create an illusion of water color. The contrast strip and outer borders are attached while in the hoop. The center fabric is stipple quilted.
This mug rug is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. There are two stitch files in your download. One with the full saying as shown, another one with the stipple quilted background, but no other design in the center.
